Chief Operations Officer
Frank McNally is the newest member of the Advance Group family. We are very pleased to add his experienced resume to the senior management team.
A seasoned veteran in our industry, Frank started driving a truck in his family’s moving business over 30 years ago while attending Fordham University earning a BA in Philosophy. Working in every service role in the industry: in the field as a mover, packer, driver, installer, supervisor and project manager; in management as dispatcher, operations manager, sales manager, vice president, Frank was named president of McNally International and serviced in that role from 1995 until 2009. In 2009 he co-founded the furniture distribution firm CFT IOS, serving as CEO until his divestiture in September 2011.
In addition to his in depth knowledge of the business, he strengthened his leadership skills obtaining General and Financial Management CEU’s from the American Management Association and being an active member of the CEO group Vistage for over 10 years.
Frank has experience in many specialized fields, including: major corporate office relocations; hospitality projects locally, national and internationally; universities; healthcare and science relocations dealing with sensitive research equipment; and hazmat materials.
His favorite: the move of Public Health Research Institute from New York City to Newark, New Jersey which involved significant bio-hazards including anthrax and tuberculosis test samples. The move was coordinated with participation of police departments and fire departments from 7 different jurisdictions as well as the Department of Homeland Security. It required the closing (for the team’s exclusive use) of the center tube of the Lincoln Tunnel for 4 evenings and set standards for bio-hazard handling for the CDC.
At Advance, we plan to utilize the strength of his leadership, client relations and project management based sales support to continue to grow our organization.
In his personal time, Frank quietly involves himself with charities such as: The Bottomless Closet, Habitat for Humanity, HUMC Foundation, and the NY Historical Society. He relaxes by participating in various sports, enjoys sailing with his wife (the Captain), and of course, spending time with his six children and new grandchild.
