Vivian Aronica of Advance Group appointed to AREW Charitable Fund Board

MELVILLE, N.Y. – (September 16, 2010) –  Vivian Aronica, Director of Business Development of The Advance Group, New York’s largest office moving, storage and furniture installation company, has been appointed to the AREW Charitable Fund board of directors.

The AREW Charitable Fund awards scholarships to women enrolled in real estate and related programs in New York City colleges and universities; supports Women In Need, Inc. (WIN) which provides New York City’s homeless women and their families with safe, clean housing and the support and the skills to become self-reliant; and hosts an annual clothing drive for Bottomless Closet, a not-for-profit organization that provides business attire, interview skills and career support programs for economically-disadvantaged women.

“Vivian personifies the spirit of generosity and caring, and also has the vision, that are the driving forces of the Charitable Fund,” said Mary Williamson, CUH2A, co-chair of the AREW Charitable Fund with Theresa Nygard, KTR Real Estate Advisors. “Vivian and her colleagues, Anthony Parziale and James Molloy, were instrumental in the success of the 2010 Bottomless Closet clothing drive and we look forward to their support in the coming year.”

Vivian serves on various committees and participates in numerous business networking groups such as: AREW (Association of Real Estate Women) currently serving on the Charitable Fund Board of Directors, Distinguished as one of the top women in real estate for 2010 (New York Real Estate Journal), New York Business Women’s Network (NYBN “The Divas”), Long Island Network Exchange for which she serves on the Board of Directors, American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” luncheon, the Gotham Long Island Network and Long Island Business Associates.
