The furniture installation process consists of three steps.
Pre-Installation Planning and Preparation
We will attend project meetings and will coordinate with the client’s team and other trades as necessary. Extensive checklists will be developed, a certificate of insurance will be issued to building management, and all critical field dimensions will be verified prior to installation. At the end of the step we will provide the client with a detailed schedule for delivery and installation.
Delivery and Installation
We will arrange a walk-through with the architect, furniture dealer, and the general contractor to review the status and condition of the space prior to furniture delivery. Tagging and property protection will then be completed and furniture will be installed per manufacturers’ specifications. After all protective materials and small packaging debris are removed, we will conduct a final walk-through to obtain the final project sign-off.
We will produce a punch list including missing or damaged product, create a schedule for punch list resolution, and provide on-site personnel to ensure the completion of the punch list.
